While the corporate costume of a leadership educator fits well (and she loves leaping around in it), Courtney enjoys her time away from the grind.
An avid knitter (and crocheter), she embraces the belief that many life lessons come from working with yarn (e.g., practice makes progress, never underestimate the value of a solid pattern/plan, and you can't fix every error--a well-crafted life (garment) is riddled with flaws). She is rarely without her sticks and string--especially when tricked into watching a sporty-ball event or enjoying air travel to a foreign destination with her Favorite Guy.
After spending so many years of her life trying to hide from past pain and shame, she is now a grateful, recovering alcoholic who has double-digit years of sobriety in her rear-view--and so many spiritual growth spurts and healing opportunities ahead! Through this podcast experience, she aims to practice using her ears almost as much as she uses her voice.
